We are now accepting pre-orders for our next container (ETA mid-July).  Items that are currently “Out of Stock”, but which we expect to source, have been listed as “On back-order” so that they can be added to your cart when signed into your wholesale account.

We strongly recommend our wholesale customers submit a pre-order to ensure access to often limited stock in certain lines.

Notice of wholesale price increases:

Due to inflationary conditions in Ghana, a rapidly weakening exchange rate against the Ghana Cedi, and the low supply of certain baskets resulting in higher prices, the cost of sourcing baskets has increased to the point that we must increase our wholesale prices.  We’ve been able to maintain steady wholesale prices over the last 5 years by absorbing the increased costs, however conditions have eroded our minimal profit margin to the point that our current wholesale prices are insufficient restock.

We continue to source quality baskets so that you, our stockists, will have a highly attractive product and minimal returns. Baskets come in different qualities.  Basically, you get what you pay for. Experienced weavers who produce a good quality product expect proportionate remuneration for their work.  We value a quality product and are therefore happy to pay accordingly. Most customers are happy to pay an extra $5-10 to get a basket that isn’t falling apart when it arrives, maintains its shape, has a tight weave with contemporary colours and often more complex patterns.
